What I tried: Korum Salon, M-block Market, Greater Kailash I, New Delhi

I liked the site as it has tie-ups with all kinds of salons, suited to every pocket. Since it’s summer and the tan seems to simply rest on the face, I thought I would try a facial which would bring take off the tan, the lines and make tried dermalogica facial, korum salon via bookthesalon.comme a little brighter. Browsing through, I found Korum. It offered three kinds of facials—Dermalogica, Casmara, Aroma. As Dermalogica was a new entrant in town too, I thought it would be good to try this, being endorsed by Britney Spears. The site has the rate card, the list of things the salon offers, and the photos of the place. This gives a fairly good idea of what you can expect. The salon is a unisex one but privacy is important. You also get a SMS after the booking so all you need to do is show that when you reach at the appointment time.

The salon turned out as I had seen on the web—neat, clean and service with a smile. Dipika, the beautician who gave me the facial, gave me clear instructions on what not to do after the facial—that is go out in the sun or put water for a day on the face. I even got to see that all the products were Dermalogica. Karan Vohra, Director, Korum Salon, said, “The brand has a criterion before it shares the products. The beauticians are trained as per Dermalogica standards and there are quality checks in place.” Yes, the tan did vanish and I was told that regular facials would remove the pigmentation and patches from the skin.

All in all, bookthesalon.com lived up to its promised experience.
