Turkish Airlines: Maiden flight to Paris dressed in EURO 2016 livery
To celebrate EURO 2016 this summer, Turkish Airlines has unveiled an A330-300 passenger aircraft painted in the competition’s livery. The plane undertook its maiden flight to Paris the location of this year’s final on 10th July. The plane wrapped in the EURO 2016 colours will fly to a selected number of destinations across the Turkish Airlines’ network. The airline currently flies to more than 280 destinations.
The livery was created by UEFA and Turkish Airlines as part of airlines’ partnership with the competition and role as Official Airline Partner to EURO 2016. The sponsorship will also see the airline announcing a series of ticket giveaway competitions, unique EURO 2016 airport experiences for passengers and a series of fan zones throughout the host French cities once matches get underway in June.

Taiwan Tourism Bureau holds multi-city workshop
Taiwan Tourism Bureau held educational multi-city workshops for the travel fraternity and the media in Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. The aim was to educate the travel agents and update their knowledge about Taiwan, the products on offer, USP of the destination and how it caters to different segments of the Indian travelers.
The workshop also saw cocktail making sessions and a massive sweepstakes and lucky draw that included a free FAM trip to Taiwan, STAR Cruise tickets, hampers and travel accessories from Taiwan Tourism Bureau and Cathay Pacific, hotel stays from the Hyatt Group, Taiwan city tours and much more.
Deliciously Wholesome meals by Singapore Airlines
With increasing number of health conscious travellers, Singapore Airlines has introduced ‘Deliciously Wholesome’ meals. This is delectable range of new gourmet dishes, including hearty salads, rich in nutrients, vitamins and essential minerals, has been created by eight renowned chefs on the airline’s International Culinary Panel.
The meal has been developed after focus group and food tasting sessions with frequent flyers. They are designed to restore and rejuvenate the body, especially on long-haul flights. They are prepared using a wide variety of carefully-selected ingredients such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, fish, seeds, nuts, herbs and spices. The dishes also contain special active micronutrients which can help alleviate travel-induced stresses such as dehydration, fatigue and jetlag.
They will be offered on Singapore Airlines flights as well as in SilverKris Lounges at Singapore’s Changi Airport. ‘Deliciously Wholesome’ meals will be served on selected flights departing from Singapore. Selected main courses will also be made available for pre-ordering by Suites, First Class and Business Class customers through the Airline’s “Book the Cook” service. Meat-free options will also be available.
