It was exposure to the world during her stint as a travel professional that compelled the enthusiastic Pooja Moirangthem to begin a restaurant in Delhi. Born in Manipur to a surgeon, Moirangthem has a passion for comics and wanted a place where people could come and forget their adult woes. So What A Comic Show was born. Here you will find your favourite Batman, Superman, Chacha Chaudhary, Phantom and more.
An ambience which is reminiscent of childhood and fun times, What A Comic Show offers American, Chinese food. She does have plans to have regular Northeastern food festivals too. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays and it’s an open house.
Wine and beer being the mainstay, there are some unique wine cocktails on the menu. I tried the Elektra with Lemon Chicken and Chicken Momos. The food is good, fresh, and the serving large enough to suffice two people. It’s also a place where there is a balcony for smoking, says Moirangthem.
The menu is extensive and it’s not so heavy on the pocket too. During the day, she gets a lot of students and evenings are varied customers. So it serves as a weekend delight with lots of live music, beer, wine and good food! And it’s the only place where I got all that could not eat packed and ate it at night and it was as fresh as ever.
