What are DreamWorks Weddings?
There was a ‘Wedding Showcase’ where couples had the opportunity to see the Marchesa Bridal Capsule Collection, displayed for the first time outside of New York and speak with wedding professionals. St. Regis Connoisseurs–Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig from Marchesa–designed four distinct wedding gowns for The St. Regis Mumbai; The St. Regis New York; The St. Regis Dubai and The St. Regis Punta Mita.

For brides who wish to order their very own Marchesa gown, The St. Regis Macao can connect them with Marchesa for a private consultation. Once the purchase of the gown and scheduling of the first fitting is made, the bride will receive a complimentary night’s stay at The St. Regis New York including airport pick-up. Should the couple choose to have their wedding at The St. Regis Macao, they will receive a Marchesa-designed dressing gown which can be worn before the event.

Couples can choose from a selection of DreamWorks Experience wedding themes, from the fairy tales of Shrek to a Kung Fu Panda Chinese-themed wedding or the island of Madagascar.

They can even stay in the DreamWorks Themed Family Suites with Shrek, Po, Alex!

And what else is unique to St Regis?
You can savour the Maria Do Leste (Mary of the East)! This signature St. Regis Bloody Mary has been a part of the St. Regis history since 1934 when bartender Fernand Petiot introduced the ‘Red Snapper’, which came to be known as the Bloody Mary, at the King Cole Bar in The St. Regis New York. The famed cocktail was created when Serge Obolensky, a well-known man about town whose penchant for vodka was in keeping with his aristocratic Russian background, asked Petiot to make the vodka cocktail he had in Paris. Today, the Bloody Mary remains the signature cocktail of the St. Regis brand, with each hotel crafting its own interpretation of the drink that is locally inspired. From the Shogun Mary of Osaka, fused with Spicy wasabi, fresh yuzu fruit and dry gin, to Rome’s very own Mediterranean inspired Mary Terranean, the St. Regis Bloody Mary never fails to steal the show.
