Nature Sure Jonk shampoo

Shiny Hair with Jonk Shampoo

I have a weakness for all things natural, especially when it comes to skin and hair care. After all, keeping ourselves in the best of health is our prerogative. And though I haven’t travelled since March 2020 due to the pandemic, in my hair the frizz is an eternal issue. So, I tried Jonk Shampoo by Nature Sure. In an earlier post I had already given the review of Jonk Hair Oil and the wonders it has been working for my hair.

Nature Sure Jonk shampoo

Jonk or leech, as I mentioned has amazing properties and leech oil is very good for the hair. Like the oil, this shampoo promises to cleanse the scalp, remove dandruff, prevent infections and deeply nourish hair roots to make the hair stronger and healthier. It is chemical-free and does not harm the skin in any manner. The 100% natural ingredients are tough on dirt, grime and fungus and keep the scalp and hair follicles healthy and nourished.

And it is living up to its promise. The first time, I did not oil my hair. I just used the shampoo directly. It gave me good results.

My hair was completely clean and it felt healthy and looked shiny. Now, that it has proven to give my hair the same shine every time, I have gone back to my routine of oiling before washing my hair.

Key points

  • Nature Sure Jonk Shampoo helps prevent dandruff, restores shine and strengthens hair with regular use
  • 100% natural ingredients including Aloe Vera, Amla, Baheda, Shikakai, Aritha, Harad, Methi, Neem, Shampoo Base (Q.S.)
  • Nature Sure Jonk Shampoo is totally free from sulphates and parabens
  • Helps cleanse scalp from infections and deeply nourishes roots and hair follicles

All the herbs mentioned are well known for their beneficial properties in skin and hair care. Aloe keeps it supple, and Neem and Methi are good cleansers and keep infections at bay. Amla and Shikakai have always been used in hair care as they keep the hair thick and shiny.

Method

I normally take a small quantity of water in a mug. And add sufficient quantity of Nature Sure Jonk Shampoo in that. Then I mix it well and wait till there is sufficient lather to rub in my hair. Then I gently massage it onto wet hair, going all over the scalp. Massage and lather enough to cover the entire scalp and hair strands. I normally like to keep this for a minute and then rinse with water. This way, the hair retains the moisture and the scalp remains clean.

I normally don’t wash twice, as it tends to take out the oils from the hair. And then I need to use a heavy quantity of conditioner. So, take ample in the beginning and mix well. Wasting the shampoo or water is not a good idea as we need to maintain our resources for a long time on the planet. Also, the shampoo having only natural ingredients is also not harmful for the planet.

Jonk Shampoo is packed in a white plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. This makes it easy to take out the required quantity and not waste any amount. The 300ml bottle doesn’t need a big storage space in the bathroom too.

It has a thick creamy texture and a light, pleasing fragrance. The shampoo can be used by both men and women and that too makes it a pocket friendly option.

Keep in mind

Keep away from sunlight. Seal cap tightly after every use. Wash with plenty of water if it enters eyes. Do not ingest.

Recommended

For best results, it is recommended to massage Nature Sure Jonk Tail (Leech Oil) on your scalp and hair roots with fingertips for 10-15 minutes before sleep. Then wash your hair with Nature Sure Jonk Shampoo the next morning.
